model requirements

Picture
Models are required by the Jersey Society of Artists mostly during the winter at a number of different sessions, During the day on a Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Saturday and in the evening on a Thursday.
The main requirement is an ability to sit still. Each session is 2 & half hrs long. The needs of the model is ALWAYS a priority and taken into consideration, with comfort breaks and coffee, heating etc provided.

Payment is :-

Models are often elderly or disabled, as a face which has character is interesting.  However,  if you are younger, reasonably fit and  supple you may be asked to hold a more demanding pose, obviously the artists prefer a more complicated challenge. We have a variety of sessions:- clothed, unclothed, moving,  portrait and full figure. You will never be asked to do anything which you are unhappy with; the choice is yours.

Settle yourself comfortably, if you are unsure about your ability to hold the pose suggested, tell the group. After 2 hours the pressure on one spot can be painful.
